Last month we decided to collect hats for children with cancer. We got the idea from here. We collected 12 hats all together and dropped them off at Children's this past Saturday. My kids were in awe at the hospital. They had no idea there was such a place for sick children to go. Many discussions ensued. It was a good experience for us all- one that we will repeat next year.

what a great idea! Good for kids to see how nice they have it in life, unlike others.
Great idea. Also, a super fun place to get stitches. Believe me I know.
