Carsyn has had a terrific softball season. She loved every minute of practice and playing the games. She is quite a good player- she can hit and field well. She loves to play first base. Yesterday she had the "play of the game". She was in the outfield (and was not thrilled) the girl at bat hit a high pop and Carsyn caught it! Meanwhile the girl who was at first was now at second. Carsyn saw her at second base and threw the ball to first and got the girl out. Her first double play! She was SO EXCITED!!! It was a great end to her season.
Both of her coaches said she is such a hard worker, always focused and has great talent. They appreciated her leadership. I am so proud of her!
For the last 9 years we have been hosting a Low Country Boil for the faculty and staff that Dale works with. It is a lot of work but it is worth it. The food is exceptional and we enjoy sharing it with friends.
