My sister made a beautiful outfit for Reagan for her birthday. I have been wanting to take pictures of her in the snow to show off the details of the dress. When it snowed on Sunday I figured it was the perfect opportunity. Reagan was totally willing to go out in the snow without a coat on!

donuts
It was fun to drive through Texas. There were so many interesting things to see. After awhile we began to notice that every tiny town we passed through there was a mom and pop donut shop. Not even kidding. We were in such a hurry to get to the grandparents that we didn't stop. So we decided to stop at one on our way home....
Dale, Carsyn and Luke got a big donut. Reagan and I each had a bag of donut holes. All for $3.00! Then as we were walking out the lady gave us a box of a dozen for free. We ate on them all day- they were delicious! We have not had that many donuts in the last 5 years put together!
Can anyone explain the Texas/donut connection?!

extended spring break
We interrupt our stream of Texas posts with a snow day post.
Sunday it snowed and snowed and snowed. So much so that school was cancelled! After 9" had fallen we spent an extra day of spring break playing in the powdery wet, sloppy stuff in our back yard.....

texas
We were in Texas this last week visiting grandma and grandpa. We enjoyed playing outside in the sunshine for a few days (pictures to come in a later post). The day before we left we visited the George Bush Library at the campus of Texas A&M. They had a kids program that kept them engaged throughout the library. We learned a few things. It was a fun morning!

ga-ga ball
We were introduced to a new game the other day... ga-ga ball (or octagon ball or octo-ball). Basically it's dodgeball in a pen. The kids LOVE it. They cannot stop playing it. I'm pretty sure they dream about it at night. We will be making a pen soon. You can stop by our house and play with us (yes, Dale and I play too). The kids are looking for worthy opponents....
