art

Once a month Luke and Reagan have art class at the Magic House. It is always fun to make a mess - especially when it is not at my house! This month's theme was winter wonderland...

tradition?!

We were going a little stir crazy so we decided to go out to lunch. We headed straight to Fitz's in the Loop. Carsyn is always begging to go there. It was fun! It might have to be a snow day tradition...
Reagan LOVES soda!

a very special treat!

she ate only the obligatory 4 bites of her lunch but the soda was gone in the blink of an eye...

another snow day

Last night we got some "real snow" so first thing this morning the kids were in full gear and ready to play....

thanks aunty erin for the bilibo!

snow day- sort of

School was canceled today because of snow- no laughing!!! I think it was canceled mostly because we are suppose to be hit early afternoon. At any rate we were glad for a day off- especially because Dale is home. So far we have had pancakes, started making cheese, done laundry, played in the snow and had hot chocolate! We'll see what the afternoon brings....

they love to eat snow!

snow slide...

Luke has a cough so we brought the snow in for him...

sledding on our "mountain"...

surprisingly they went fast!

i've been saving these nasty peeps for such and occasion!

Reagan LOVES peeps (no one else does but they look cute in the cocoa)...

luke

This is the first thing Luke said to me this morning, "Mom, do you have nipples? I do. See. I think everyone has nipples." Not sure where that came from but somehow it has to be connected to Aunt Dee....

Then at lunch today... "Mom, what if Kurt Warner played Wildcat basketball? Then we would win EVERY game!! WOO-HOO!!!"
(Since we are Kurt Warner fans Luke thinks Kurt can do anything!)

good to know!

Reagan at bedtime: "Mommy, I will ALWAYS love you- even if I am steaming mad at you." :)

bowling

We went to a school sponsored bowling event tonight. The kids had a blast bowling, eating pizza and being with friends!

say cheese

It should come as no surprise that Dale is interested in cheese making. He received a cheese making kit from Carsyn and cheese press plans (also a cheese making book from Cori). He built the press last week and started making cheddar cheese this weekend.

the final product (although it has to sit for 2 months)

this looks gross to me...
