I love that Luke is in half day kindergarten. It leaves our afternoons full of fun (well, unless he takes a nap which is only fun for me!) Most days we play games, read or play outside while Reagan takes her nap. It is fun for us to be together- just us, no big sister, no little sister. He has rarely gotten that in the last 5.75 years seeing as though his baby sister came on the scene when he was only 14 months old.
Anywhooo... another great thing about this half day thing is that Luke spends his Monday afternoons with two buddies: Sam and Stewart. One week they are at Sam's, one week they are at Stewart's and one week at our house. They have a lot of fun together- and they are hilarious to watch! Their personalities and birth order come shining thru (Luke is a middle child, only boy. Sam is baby boy with 2 sisters, and Stewart is baby of 4). I LOVE to see how they approach situations and solve problems. Today they ended our time together with a rousing game of basketball. Sam said, "It's Luke against Stewart and me cause last time I played here Luke got ALL the points and his dad and I lost!" Stewart said, "traveling is OK and sometimes baskets count for 2 points." Luke just went along and played his favorite sport. He was in heaven.
he is famous for stealing the ball...

Sam had so much fun! We are seriously thinking about getting a basketball hoop.
