On Thursday Dale went to the doctor because he was concerned about numbing/extreme coldness in his right leg. They did a doppler test and found 2 blood clots! We immediately went to the hospital for an overnight stay. Scary. His doctor came in and said he has only had 1 other patient with a blood clot (after this type of hip surgery). Luckily the clots are in his calf. Since it was caught early he will be fine. Dale now had to administer shots 2 times a day for the next 6 weeks. YIKES! It just confirms what we already know- Dale is a rare breed.....
