Dale began working on the deck rails last night. It looks good. (He is doing an amazing job on everything)

CUBS win!

Dale and I had 2 tickes to the CUBS game today. I was looking forward to watching the CUBS pound the cards and have a date with my husband (we even had a babysitter!!) The kids were disappointed when they found out they were not included in our plans. Then Grandpa and Grandma Beachy got "a wild idea" and decided to take all the grandkids to the game (minus Jeryl and Thomas). So they met us at the house, we all took the metro down and sat at opposite sides of the stadium. Everyone enjoyed the game (especially the CUBS fans). The weather was great and the CUBS did in fact beat the cards (like anyone is surprised).

The whole group (minus Amy) outside of Busch.

The 5 of us plus a stranger who wanted to associate with CUBS fans.

Amy and Dale on our "date" (Reagan sat with us so it might not qualify as a date).

A few sassy cardinal fans with some cute CUBS fans.

Reagan taking in the game. We had front row seats.

Our 3 on the field. Carsyn is trying to imagine we are at Wrigley.

Adam, Alysha and Trevor running the bases (Drew was too fast for the camera).

Cute CUBS fans running the bases.

balloon glow

We met friends at the balloon glow tonight. The kids had blast playing together. Once the ballons got fired up Reagan and Luke were in our arms. They did not like the noise and the fire. However, they did much better than last year - no tears! Carsyn loved it. We even collected balloon cards from each of the different representitives. It was nice to wear jeans and sweatshirts again!
