happy 60th dad

Tonight we celebrated Dad's 60th birthday. We had a lot of fun just hanging out at the house eating, playing the wii and talking. It is nice to be together. We missed you Jim, Andrea, Devan, Karen, Eli and Sam! If only you lived closer.

Carsn has been waiting for this day to come for weeks. It's "free dress day" at school. She was able to choose whatever she wanted (within reason of course). The children at CCS won this day as a prize for collecting boxtops. We brought in over 1,000 thanks to the grandma's and Aunty Andrea!

*Luke and Reagan didn't get to participate because they don't go to school on Friday's- there were tears.. :(

did u know

you can still get a blood clot even when you are on blood thinners?! (I found that out today.) Dale had some odd pain in his leg that we are keeping tabs on. Keep up the prayers!

december is here

We are so excited that December is here! I made the kids Christmas pj's this afternoon. We decorated our new tree before dinner. And we started our new "Advent house". Tomorrow we pull out the Christmas music and begin the fun crafts!
